Cats and allergy

Cat allergy is caused by proteins that the cat produces, among them Fel d 1. How much a person reacts varies from person to person and from cat to cat.

Test for allergy before you buy. There is no guarantee that you will tolerate a particular cat or breed. Example: some people react less to Siberian cats, but it is individual, and no breed is allergy-free. You are welcome to visit and pet the cats before you decide.

Kitten or adult?

Example: the reaction can differ between kittens and adult cats. You are welcome to visit us and test more than once before a kitten moves home.
